Printing, scanning and copying as of 1st February 2021
In the foyer area (in front of the IT service point) of the URZ, printouts can be picked up and scans and copies can be made since 1st February 2021.
Please follow the instructions for making printouts.

How to print something?
After sending the print job, it will be ready for release in the URZ within 72 hours. The costs will be deducted from the print account after the print job has been released.
ATTENTION! Print jobs can only be released in person on site at the campus.

- IMPORTANT! For the release of print jobs in the URZ the student ID card is required!

Frequently asked questions
I get the message that my Email has been rejected.
An Email address from a freemailer such as Gmail, Outlook or others is used. Only Email addresses of the OVGU are allowed as senders.
The main Email address is not used. The main Email address can be checked at urz.ovgu.de/en/account ➜ Manage Account.
I get a message that no valid attachments were found.
A Word, Excel or PowerPoint file is probably being tried to print. Only PDF files are accepted. Save the documents as PDF files and try again.
How much print and copy credit do I have?
The print credit can be checked from the OVGU network via https://papercut.campus-lsa.de/client.

Can I print from the UBS stick?
No, printing from the USB stick is not possible.
Can I print posters via this method?
No, poster printing is not possible via this method.
On which materials can I print?
Only standard paper (80 g/m²) is available.
Can I print on my own paper?
Printing on your own paper is not possible.
