Recommendations on OpenSource and OpenData
On the initiative of Prof. Dr. Jana Dittmann of Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, who is also a member of the Digital Council of Saxony-Anhalt, an open source and open data collaboration space was established with the participation of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs.
In collaboration with the CyberSecurity Network Saxony-Anhalt, suggestions for data-efficient, sustainable open source software have been compiled.
The aim is to raise awareness among stakeholders, demonstrate opportunities, and convey the principles and principles of open source and open data.
Here you will find an overview of selected software suggestions.
The selection was based on the following criteria:
- Data economy (use on one's own computer or through web services hosted by us or the user)
- Sustainability (resource economy, but also long-term usability through open program code, APIs, and data formats)
