Colocation (Serverhousing)

The URZ operates several server rooms that are equipped with UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and air conditioning technology.

Departmental servers can be set up in the URZ rooms as far as the infrastructure allows. The connected loads of the systems must be checked and each individual case must be approved by the URZ. Access is only granted to institute administrators when accompanied by URZ staff.
